My experience is that we need to learn the rules, only so we know when to break them. This course is no exception. We broke almost all of the rules you’re “supposed” to follow when creating something like this.
What resulted isn’t really a course. It’s a live, collaborative, community-centric experience designed to point you in the direction of the right questions, and get you to make the types of videos that you actually want to make.
Because the truth is, even after 8 years on YouTube, I don’t have all the answers. No one does. But I do have questions, frameworks, and tools from the journey so far that have led me to tap into my own creativity, build a successful channel with my best friends, and stay inspired in the process.
I’ll be sharing these lessons in live workshops every week, and consistently pushing you to leave your comfort zone and get out there and tell the stories you feel called towards.

FAQs
Can I join if I’ve never made a video before?
Of course. Every creator — including us — started at zero. We only ask, if you join, to commit to posting at least one video during the 6 weeks. The only way to learn is to start.
Will I get to actually talk and interact with Thomas, Ammar, and the rest of the team during this cohort?
Thomas or Ammar will be hosting at least one live workshop per week where they’ll take questions towards the end. They will also be in Creator Now chats, video hangouts, and forums from time to time during the cohort.
That said, this is a learning experience for creators and the Yes Theory team is opening themselves up to access for that purpose. It’s not a fan club, and there will be a zero tolerance policy for anyone treating it like that.
When will live workshops take place?
Sessions will be scheduled around Thomas, Ammar, and the rest of the team’s filming and editing schedules. Most sessions will take place in the evenings CEST (mornings PDT / afternoons EDT) to accommodate as many people from the community as possible.
All recordings will be available within 12 hours of the live sessions.
I have a channel that’s in a completely different niché than Yes Theory. Should I join?
We don’t expect everyone in the community to make videos like Yes Theory, and in fact, encourage the opposite. This cohort is designed to bring out the natural curiosities and creative impulses of anyone building a channel on YouTube, not to inspire a bunch of Yes Theory clones. We’ll be exploring frameworks and tools that are relevant for every creator — no matter what you make.

Inside the Creator Now platform, you’ll have access to everyone in the Yes Theory cohort through channels (similar to Discord) and direct messaging. We also have small group break outs, and will be hosting digital meet & greet events for creators in different nichés, cities, and more.
